Finance Operations Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Finance Operations Specialist who combines strong management accounting skills in modern ERP systems (specifically MS Business Central) with deep expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and investment analytics.

• Management Accounting and Reporting: Full-cycle data collection, transaction classification, and preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L, CF, Balance Sheet) by business unit.

• Budgeting: Coordination of the budgeting process, consolidation of budget requests, variance (plan-vs-actual) analysis, and regular updates of rolling forecasts.

• Investment Analytics: Evaluation of potential target assets (real estate, businesses), calculation of key investment metrics (IRR, NPV, ROI, EBITDA), and preparation of investment memorandums.

• Financial Modeling: Scenario analysis and modeling (base/optimistic/pessimistic) for new business ventures, including break-even point analysis.

• Treasury Planning: Provision of data for payment calendars and cash liquidity management.

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in companies with international exposure, IT, financial or investment sector.

• Management and Statutory Accounting: Clear understanding of the differences in rules and approaches between Management and Statutory (Regulated) Accounting.

• Financial Statement Analysis: Proven ability to analyze financial statements and deep understanding of the interconnections between P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Strong skills in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.

• Investment Valuation: Solid knowledge of investment appraisal methods and financial mathematics.

• ERP Proficiency: Proficient user of ERP systems (1C, Business Central etc).

• Advanced Data Tools: Expert-level skills in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, financial modeling) and Power BI.

• Accounting Standards: Conceptual understanding of Accounting in accordance with National Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Higher education (finance, economics, accounting).

• Languages: Ukrainian fluent, English Pre-Intermediate (А2)
  
  

  What do we expect from you in the first 90 Days?

  • Management Accounting in Business Central: Maintenance of management accounting transactions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC). 
    

  Would be a plus:
  

  • ERP Experience: Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC).

  • BI Tools Proficiency: Ability to work with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Market Knowledge: Understanding of the real estate and land assets market.

  • Additional courses/certificates in financial management
